Prices are per week based on 2 people sharing a cabin. A minimum of 4 participants is required to confirm a cruise.
Set sail from Volos on a 4-cabin yacht with fellow adventure seekers (privatization available) and explore the stunning islands of Skiathos, Skopelos, and Alonissos.
Enjoy swimming and lunch in tranquil bays, followed by evenings exploring the area and dining in charming port taverns. You can choose to participate in sailing or simply relax and take in the scenery, though helping with mooring and meal prep is part of the experience.
After a day of sailing, swimming, and snorkeling, unwind on deck with a sunset and cocktail, then disembark to explore the new island, port, or fishing village. Our goal is to arrive at port in the afternoon, allowing time to explore each unique town with its fascinating history and character. The itinerary includes visits to the vibrant port of Skiathos and the main ports of Skopelos and Alonissos. A two-week cruise allows for a deeper experience of the magic of the Sporades.
Departure Details
Comfortable and Spacious Yachts
Our Beneteau Oceanis 440 yacht is well-equipped and ideal for your cabin cruise in the Sporades. It features 4 double cabins (one for the skipper), ample deck space, and even a barbecue for use on land. There are 2 bathrooms (WC/showers) onboard, which may need to be shared if the boat is full. The yacht accommodates up to six people comfortably, with an experienced skipper to take care of you.
Meals
Your yacht will be stocked with a generous welcome basket including tea, coffee, juices, fresh fruits, and all essentials for breakfast and light lunches throughout the cruise. Your skipper will prepare breakfast on the first morning, and afterward, meal preparation will be a collaborative effort among guests. Typically, breakfast is taken before leaving port, lunch is enjoyed at anchor, and most evenings are spent dining on land to experience local culinary delights. It’s customary for the group to cover the skipper’s evening meals on land, but he will often guide you to the best taverns at reasonable prices. Expect to pay around €20-25 per person for a dinner on land, including local wine or beer.
Board between 4 PM and 5 PM in Volos and sail to the small island of Paleo Trikeri (2 hours), where you can dine at local waterfront taverns and try the famous “pasta with crayfish.”
Depart after breakfast. Enjoy lunch onboard and a swim stop at the small island beach of Tsougria before arriving at the lively port of Skiathos in the afternoon (3-4 hours). Explore the vibrant island and dine ashore.
After breakfast, sail to Alonissos. Stop for swimming and lunch in the secluded bay of Panormos (1 hour) on Skopelos’s west coast. Spend the night and have dinner at Patitiri (2 hours). A taxi ride to a hilltop bar offers stunning views of the Sporades archipelago.
After breakfast, sail to the uninhabited island of Peristera (2 hours) for lunch and swimming. In the afternoon, navigate to the charming village of Steni Valla for dinner at local taverns.
Certified divers can explore Greece’s first underwater museum: the wreck of a classic Greek trading ship with preserved amphorae. This must be arranged in advance for an additional fee.
After breakfast, head to Skopelos and its main town, Chora (2-3 hours). Skopelos is known for its numerous small churches, charming streets, shops, and the famous “Skopelitiki” cheese pie. After a light lunch onboard, spend the rest of the day exploring the town. Dinner at a taverna.
Enjoy a full day of sailing back to the Pagasetic Gulf (6 hours). Depending on the weather, you might sail along the north of Skopelos past the famous “Mamma Mia” church or return via the south to avoid northern winds. Stop for swimming and lunch at one of Skiathos’s golden sand beaches (Megali Ammos or Koukounaries) before continuing to the gulf. Dinner at a tavern in the fishing port of Aghia Kyriaki, known for some of the best locally caught seafood.
Disembark after breakfast with a swim stop and lunch onboard. Enjoy the afternoon breeze as you sail back to Volos between 4 PM and 5 PM. Dinner at a local “tsipouradiko” restaurant to sample local ouzo and seafood mezes.
Disembark at 9 AM after breakfast.
After your sailing adventure, you have the option to rent a car for the day to explore the charming Mount Pelion, with its picturesque villages (Makrinitsa and Portaria being the most popular) and unique beaches such as Milopotamos, Fakistra, Limiona, and Labinou. This is a rewarding choice to discover the authentic beauty and culture of this enchanting region.
